well I'm bored . i don't do anything this day, seems to be wasted simply just because this day ended without anything happened good. because of this boredom i make some research. i've been heard about "perdo calunsod" this past few days.
Pedro Calungsod also known as Pedro Calonsor (born: 1654– died: 2 April 1672) was a young Roman Catholic Filipino migrant, sacristan and missionary catechist, who along with Blessed Diego Luis de San Vitores, suffered religious persecution andmartyrdom in Guam for their missionary work in 1672. (wikipedia).
i've heard on news that "pedro calusod" will be a second pilipino saint after San Lorenzo Ruiz. the process of being declared as saint. it will takes long time. decades and years of gathering of proof and evidences that pedro calunsod is an miraculous missionary. and i've heard that one doctor gives his testimonials about the miracles that happened. he's been praying to pedro calunsod to save his patient's life after that the miracle happened and that patient is now a devotee of pedro calunsod.
inherent in the Philippines the vow of miracles. our culture is based on how we faith to god. although were not same belief but there's a thin line between to our faith and that is the rules and lesson that we learned.
~ bilang katoliko. naituro samin ang kahalagahan at panampalataya sa diyos.
